Ph.D. Student, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa
Aloha, welcome to my homepage!
I am a graduate student in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, working with Prof. Giuseppe Torri.
My Ph.D. work focuses on understanding convective organization and propagation associated with the Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO), especially the physical mechanisms of cold pool dynamics and gravity waves. My works mostly use the combination of Large Eddy Simulations/Cloud Resolving Models and a Lagrangian Particle Dispersion Model, as well as Convection-Permitting Models, trying to understand the complicated dynamic and thermodynamic cloud processes.
I am a big fan of cross-scale precipitating clouds :)
