My first Blog

I was born in Wuhan, in central China, near the Yangtze River. The climate is humid, and from late spring to early autumn, there are frequent heavy rains and floods. But I love my hometown. Like the plum blossoms of this city, it possesses a resilient and tenacious vitality, blooming again in the cold winter after the floods. The ever-changing weather here, with its unique personality, inspired my interest in atmospheric science.

In my spare time, I have many hobbies:

I am a passionate enthusiast of drawing; I believe that abstract lines are always more powerful than words.

I always try different kinds of sports but find it hard to stick to them like I do with table tennis.

I love reading; it has been my secret to not being overwhelmed by the endless challenges of growing up.

I always regret that time is not infinite; otherwise, I would learn my dream subjects like music, oil painting, and traveling to natural landscapes. But in reality, with limited free time, I prefer to explore cooking to satisfy myself. Overall, I consider myself lucky because I also love clouds. For my first blog, I want to share this collection of my favorite adorable clouds, which have been my companions throughout most of my PhD journey.
